Monash Warriors Gridiron Club

The club underwent a rebranding and became the Monash Warriors Gridiron Club in 1990.

The Monash Warriors Gridiron Club is a sports club in Melbourne, Victoria, dedicated to promoting and participating in American Football. The club offers opportunities for both senior men and junior players to develop their skills and compete at various levels.

For senior men, the club fields two teams in Division 1 and Division 2. This allows players to choose a team that best suits their skill level and development goals. By playing in the “twos,” players have the opportunity to progress at their own pace in a less intense environment than Division 1. The club places a strong emphasis on training and development, providing support from top-notch Australian coaches as well as specialist coaches from around the world.

Whether players aspire to play at an elite level or simply enjoy the sport they love, the Warriors are there to help them achieve their goals.

Gridiron, unlike many other sports, accommodates players of all body shapes and sizes. The club encourages people of all backgrounds to give it a try and join the Warriors Gridiron Club.

In addition to the senior men's teams, the Monash Warriors Gridiron Club also offers a vibrant junior programme. The club creates an inclusive, supportive, and competitive environment for young players to excel both on and off the field. With a focus on the USA philosophy of developing a “student first, athlete second” mentality, the club supports players in their academic and sporting pursuits. Accredited coaches provide elite-level coaching, and the club also offers medical supervision, a training camp, training gear, protective equipment, and support to achieve representation at the Victorian or Australian levels.

The club can even provide advice for players interested in pursuing college scholarships.
