Morwell Swimming Club

Morwell Swimming Club, located in Latrobe City, is a sports club that offers squad training to swimmers of all ages and levels. Whether you are just starting out or aiming to compete at a higher level, Morwell Swimming Club is the perfect place to practise and perfect your swimming skills.

At Morwell Swimming Club, swimmers receive professional coaching in all aspects of race preparation, including starts, turns, and technique correction for the four competitive swimming strokes. The club's training sessions are held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings. Juniors train from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, while intermediate swimmers train from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

One of the main goals of Morwell Swimming Club is to provide a safe and fun environment for swimmers to learn and improve. In addition to training, the club also focuses on fostering friendships among its members. Swimmers have the opportunity to meet new friends who share the same passion for swimming and engage in a supportive community.

Morwell Swimming Club welcomes individuals with a passion for swimming, an enthusiasm to learn, and the ability to swim a couple of laps. The club invites interested individuals to take advantage of a FREE TWO WEEK TRAINING TRIAL, which allows them to experience the training sessions with no obligation to join.

Participation in competitions is not compulsory at Morwell Swimming Club. However, for those who are interested in challenging themselves further and testing their skills against other swimmers, the club participates in Gippsland Swimming meets throughout the year. These meets are held both indoors during the winter and outdoors during the summer.
