Welcome to the Mount Gambier Table Tennis Club Inc, a vibrant sports club located in the City of Mount Gambier. Whether you are an experienced player or a beginner looking to have some fun, our club offers a friendly and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
Our seasons align with the school terms, which means we have four seasons per year. This structure allows for flexibility and ensures that our club activities fit well with everyone's schedules. We are based in Show Hall 3 at the Mount Gambier Show Hall on Pick Avenue, providing a convenient and accessible location for our members.
To join the club, the annual membership fee is $60, payable in May each year. We also offer a subsidy voucher for some junior players, making it even more affordable. Additionally, there are small training and game fees of $2 and $3 for juniors, and $5 for seniors respectively, payable per night. These fees contribute to maintaining the facilities and equipment for an optimal playing experience.
Training sessions are held on Monday nights from 7pm to 9pm. We have experienced players who are always willing to provide tips and guidance to help you improve your game. It's a great opportunity to learn from the best and sharpen your skills.
Competition games take place on Wednesday nights, with the games starting at 7pm. We kindly ask players to arrive around 6:45pm to ensure a prompt start. The finish time may vary depending on the duration of the games, but it is usually around 9:30pm to 10pm.
One of the highlights of our club is the supportive and friendly atmosphere. We believe that table tennis should be enjoyed in a positive and encouraging environment, and that's exactly what we strive to create. Additionally, we offer opportunities to participate in tournaments held in Warrnambool, Hamilton, Horsham, and Murray Bridge. These events allow you to showcase your skills against players from other clubs while also enjoying a social outing.
