Mount Pritchard Joggers

We meet at Haigh Park, off Bridges Road, Moorebank NSW 2170. Anyone interested in walking or running 1 km – 11 km with a great bunch of people come along and join the fun, get fit and enjoy a friendly chat and cuppa afterwards.

7am Sundays is when we set off so arrive a few minutes before this to park your car, warm up & chat. Why so early, what sort of person would get up at this hour on a weekend to go running? This is a great way to start the day, many of our members have young families, and they can go for a run and be home in time to take them on an outing or off to sports. At seven in winter the sun is up, and we can see where we are going, you will soon forget the cold as you feel the warmth & camaraderie of your fellow runners.

In summer starting at seven means we have finished before the heat of the day becomes oppressive....... some members (suffering fits of madness or just serious fanatics) may ask you to start even earlier with them to clock up a few extra kilometres when training for special events.
