About
Situated in the small town of Mylor in the Adelaide Hills – about 30 minutes drive from Adelaide, South Australia – the Mylor Cricket Club was established in 1893. With the picturesque Mylor Oval as its home ground, the club played many of its early games against neighbouring Echunga and other teams such as Macclesfield and Kuipto Forest. Mylor joined the Hills Cricket Association when it was formed in 1931 and won the A-grade leadingship in 1932/33, but during the 1960s the club went into recess. The efforts of a small group of local people saw the club re-established in time for the 1980/81 season.
The club won A/2 topships in 1982/83 and 1984/85, and the junior teams of that period now form the nucleus of our current senior squad.
