Established 15 years ago, the club has grown from a small group of men fishing to a thriving organisation that now encourages the participation of families and children as well.

The club aims to promote fishing in a positive and sustainable manner, ensuring that the guidelines set out by the Fisheries Department are not only followed but even exceeded when it comes to fish sizing and bag limits. With approximately 150 members, the club offers three competition fishing categories: Rock & Beach, Estuary, and Deep Sea. These categories are available for both men and women, as well as senior and junior members.

One of the club's key focuses is mentoring the junior members and fostering their appreciation for a clean and healthy lifestyle in the great outdoors. It seeks to provide them with a platform to develop their fishing skills, while also instilling in them a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
