Narrogin Basketball Association

The Narrogin Basketball Association (NIRBA) is a well-established sports club located in the Town of Narrogin, Western Australia. Established on March 7th, 1972, NIRBA aims to promote the sport of basketball in Western Australia while maintaining friendly cooperation with other Associations.

NIRBA offers a range of programmes and competitions for players of all ages and skill levels. The club's primary focus is on junior development, providing opportunities for young basketball enthusiasts to learn and improve their skills. With a proud history of success in the BasketballWA Country Championships and other inter-association events, NIRBA has become a respected name in the basketball community.

The club organises a vibrant annual season, which typically runs from August to May. Each year, an Annual General Meeting is held to present reports from the previous season and elect the Association Management Committees. Team nominations for the upcoming season are due at this meeting, ensuring a smooth transition between seasons. Please note that team nominations will only be accepted if the required forms are completed correctly.

In an effort to encourage more team participation, there is a maximum limit of 8 registered players per team in the Junior Comp. This designed to create a fair and balanced competition. NIRBA strives to create a positive and enjoyable environment for players, coaches, and spectators alike.
