Newcastle City Archers Inc is one of the oldest target archery clubs in New South Wales, having been established for over forty-five years.
It is a friendly, relaxed Club catering for Target Archery.
At present the club has nearly 75 members whose ages range from 12 to 70+. Weekend events typically attract 20 to 30 or more regular shooters, all of whom use Compound or Recurve equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a target archery club – the type of archery seen in the Olympics. We do not cater for Field Archery, 3D archery nor bowhunting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can come and try archery, and it is for ages 12 years and over. Our next beginners class is November 1, 2025, and you can enrol and find other dates through Come and try archery.
