North Shore Country Club & Residents Association is a sports club located in Perth, Australia. It is ideally situated close to the beach and boasts beautiful landscaped grounds with a lake and large grassed area. Originally founded to cater to residents of the local estate, the club now welcomes families from all of Kallaroo and its surrounding suburbs.
In response to the demands of the local community, the club has also focused on health and well-being programmes. The existing building is being expanded and the surrounding community and recreational space are being upgraded to accommodate these programmes. One of the major activities at the club is tennis, with 6 courts available for use. The club has a qualified coaching team that encourages families and participants of all abilities to join.
In addition to tennis, the renowned Troy Hargreaves of FitSportsWA has developed a coaching programme with a major focus on children and teens, which runs throughout the year.
Motion by the Ocean Inc. is a community initiative that aims to bring the northern suburbs coastal community together to support one another. The organisation provides trishaw rides for individuals with limited movement, and is grateful to have one of its trishaws stored at the North Shore Community Hub. The partnership with the club allows Motion by the Ocean Inc.
to provide more rides to the Mullaloo community and also serves as an ideal location for volunteer catch-ups.
The club also hosts regular events throughout the week. On Friday nights, the bar, and kiosk open in the evening, followed by kids social tennis and a sausage sizzle. The popular game “Chase the Ace” is also drawn, offering a chance to win. Sunday sessions are a great way to finish off the weekend with a Sunday Sundowner at the community hub.
The bar opens at 4pm and a grazing board raffle is drawn at 6:30pm.
With a focus on social events, sports, health, and well-being for the whole family, North Shore Country Club & Residents Association welcomes both members and visitors. The club offers a variety of activities, including tennis, pickleball, Thai kickboxing, junior tennis, and social tennis. Additionally, the club hosts regular social events throughout the year, providing an opportunity to celebrate and have a party atmosphere.
