North Shore Football & Netball Club

North Shore Football & Netball Club, founded in 1927, is a prominent sports club in Geelong, Victoria. The club was established after a meeting held in the North Shore Presbyterian Church hall, with William G. Evans leading the initiative. With strong ties to the Evans family, the club has been deeply rooted in the community throughout its history.

In its early years, the North Shore Football Club joined the Geelong Athletic Societies Football League. The team played their matches on an open paddock located on Walch's Road (formerly Sparks Road) in North Shore. Changing sheds were hosted in a nearby barn owned by G. F Evans.

The inaugural side took the field on April 30, 1927, donning the blue and gold colours.

Over the decades, North Shore Football & Netball Club has grown in popularity and developed a strong presence within the Geelong community. Today, the club boasts a dedicated membership and continues to participate in various leagues and competitions.

The club now plays their home games at Windsor Park, located at 39 Rose Avenue, Norlane, VIC. This picturesque location serves as a gathering point for players, supporters, and spectators alike. Equipped with excellent facilities, including well-maintained fields and modern amenities, Windsor Park provides an enjoyable environment for both football and netball enthusiasts to come together.
