North Ward Old Boys Rugby Union Club

In 1999 the Grammar Old Boys Rugby Club was formed and commenced playing in the local Townsville Under 19 Rugby Union competition. Over the past years the club has grown to 5 senior teams and established strong links with two local junior clubs, the North Ward Sandcrabs and the Townsville Grammar School. The club was successful in its early years with an Under 19 Grand Final appearance in 2000 and a premiership in 2001.
