

Of navigational skills and outdoor fitness. The Northern Territory Rogaining Association (NTRA) is a sports club based in Darwin, Australia, dedicated to promoting and organising rogaining events in the region.
NTRA hosts a variety of rogaining events throughout the year, with their flagship event being the annual “Team Challenge” Christmas Bush Rogaine. This exciting 4-hour rogaine takes place in the bushland near the eastern border of Litchfield National Park. The event aims to provide training and mentoring in navigation and map reading, pairing experienced participants with those seeking to improve their rogaining skills. Participants will indicate their skill level on the entry form, which is required for registration.
The Christmas Bush Rogaine will take place on Saturday, 2nd December 2023, with maps available at 12:00pm and the rogaine starting at 2:00pm. The home base for the event will be the Litchfield Tourist Park, located approximately 14 km west of Batchelor towards the Litchfield National Park boundary. Participants can choose to camp or arrange accommodations at their own cost through the Litchfield Tourist Park website or by calling their office.
The cost of the event is $35 per adult, $20 per youth aged 13–17 years, and children under 13 can participate for free. The entry fee includes the event entry, map, insurance, and dinner and breakfast the next day. To secure a spot, the entry fee must be paid in full using electronic funds transfer (EFT) before 11pm on Tuesday, 28th November.
As part of the Christmas festivities, NTRA will be hosting a Secret Santa Swap & Steal. Participants are encouraged to bring along a gift with a maximum spend of $25. The event will also include a dinner on Saturday evening, featuring bacon and eggs for breakfast, with tea and coffee included.
To participate in the Christmas Bush Rogaine and NTRA's mystery team challenge, individuals are required to complete the attached entry form and send it to entries@nt. Rogaine. Asn. au.
Only one form is required per person, and children under 13 years can be included on the same form as their supervising adult. The form includes questions about navigational skills and preferences for dinner and breakfast, which assist in catering preparations. Participants are also required to read and sign the indemnity section of the form.
