

North Companions FC, popularly known as the Mighty Pandas, is a prominent sports club in Tamworth, New South Wales. Established in 1974, the club has consistently been one of the leading clubs in the region, known for its success on the pitch, family-oriented approach, and commitment to inclusivity.
The North Companions Football Club offers programmes for players of all ages, ranging from under 5s to under 18s in the Junior/Youth Competitions, as well as open men's and women's teams. With a long and proud history in Tamworth football, the club was a founding member of the Northern Inland Men's leading League Competition. Since 2000, the club has secured the 1st Grade Championship title five times and the Reserve Grade Championship three times. In 2017, both the 1st Grade and Reserve Grade teams triumphed as leading League Grand Final winners.
North Companions FC has been a strong advocate and supporter of women's football. The Women's 1st Grade side currently holds the title of Tamworth 1st Grade Champions and has secured the Women's Champion title four times since 2018. The club is dedicated to developing well-trained and coached junior girls who have the opportunity to progress to the women's senior football teams.
As the club approaches its 50th anniversary in 2023, it is anticipated to be a significant year with approximately 60 men's and women's teams competing in the Tamworth and Northern Inland Competitions. Joining North Companions FC means becoming part of a family-oriented club that values integrity, discipline, commitment, and teamwork.
All training sessions take place at the Marius St Playing Fields, the club's home ground. Situated between the Riding School for the Disabled complex and the BMX Track, this facility is conveniently located at the northern end of Marius St, off Peel St.
