Nowra Bowling & Recreation Club

Competitive players, join one of our nominated triples or pairs games. Nowra Bowling & Recreation Club is the home of lawn bowls in Nowra – Bomaderry. With two well-maintained greens and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect place to enjoy a game of bowls.

The club offers a variety of bowls events throughout the week. Men's bowls takes place on Wednesdays with nominated triples in a mufti dress code. On Fridays, there are nominated pairs games also in a mufti dress code. And on Saturdays, players can enjoy a social game with creams dress code (single names taken).

For the ladies, there are bowls sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the mornings. For more information on specific games and dress codes, please contact the club.

In addition to the bowls greens, Nowra Bowling & Recreation Club also features a café located near the bar in the main building. The café offers a wide range of meals and drinks, including the popular cheeseboards and pizzas, tea, coffee, cakes, milkshakes, sweets, sandwiches, and other light meals. Whether you're craving a quick bite during raffle nights and other events at the club or want to enjoy a warm coffee after dining at the Rinks Restaurant, the café has something for everyone.

The club's trading hours vary throughout the week. On Mondays, the club is open from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, the club opens at 10:00 am and closes at 9:00 pm, 8:30 pm, and 8:00 pm respectively. On Fridays, the club has extended hours from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm.

And on Saturdays, the club is open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Please note that these trading hours are subject to change, so it's always a good idea to contact the club to confirm.
