Nyah District Pony Club holds rallies on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month beginning at 10am. Potential new members are welcome to come along and have a “Come and Try” Day for a small fee (for insurance purposes).
Our club runs an annual Gymkhana event in August, a Horse Trials event in November and (usually) a Horse Trials Coaching Clinic in May.
At rallies we provide coaching in dressage, showjumping, cross country, novelties, pony club certificate training and more. We cater for all ages with young riders on small ponies through to older riders on big hacks participating regularly at our rallies.
We are lucky to have our grounds back onto the Vinifera forest where we often go for trail rides. In the hot summer weather we also sometimes hold rallies at Lake Boga where our riders can take their horses swimming.
