Oberons newest sporting group – Oberon Roller Derby – started up at the end of last year and has huge ambitions for the future. Roller Derby involves roller skating and getting very fit. Its great for boosting girls self-confidence and its a sport mums and daughters can share. Training sessions are held in the Oberon High School Hall each Wednesday night between 6.
00pm and 9. 00pm. Cost is $5 per session. Girls from 8 - 17 years are placed in the Junior section and Seniors consist of women from 18 to 80+ years – if you can get up on skates then you are wanted!
