Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Established in 1922, Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club is the oldest surf life-saving club on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Located on the Woy Woy peninsula, Ocean Beach offers breathtaking views of Lion Island and Barrenjoey Headland, making it the perfect family beach.

The club's primary goal is to ensure beach safety, maintain the aquatic environment, and provide education and training in a fun, friendly, and professional manner. Lifesavers patrol the beach on weekends and public holidays, while council lifeguards take over on weekdays. This patrol season extends from the last weekend in September to the last weekend in April.

In addition to its lifesaving activities, the club also offers a range of functions and events. The newly established “Sundays @ OB” programme provides a unique space for members and their families to relax and enjoy the beachside atmosphere.
