PBWC enjoys a membership of approximately 25 people, varying in ages from 35 up to the very energetic members aged 80 plus. A good advertisement indeed to keep fit by walking regardless of age. PBWC enjoys close ties with the Berwick Bushwalking Club, with both clubs having some “overlapping” memberships.
PBWC runs their walks each Tuesday and the “usual” radius for walks is anywhere within 100kms of the local area. However, we do branch out and enjoy weekends away, involvement with other clubs throughout Victoria, and regular walks further afield.
Where the PBWC is situated is fantastic, just 15 minutes from the Dandenong's and not far from a host of walks on the Peninsula, Baw Baw area, and Gippsland. Wherever you look around our area, there are walks galore and as a Club, we do realise just how lucky we are.
