Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc, popularly known as PDRC, is a sports club located in Mackay Regional, Queensland. The club is dedicated to providing top-notch drag racing experiences and fostering a vibrant motorsport community in the region. LED lights for the track and braking area have been ordered and will be installed in May, enhancing visibility and safety during races. In addition, new septic storage tanks are being installed at the pit area toilet block. These upgrades aim to provide racers and spectators with a top-notch facility that meets the highest safety standards.
PDRC expresses its gratitude to the Resources Community Infrastructure Fund (RCIF), a voluntary partnership between the Queensland Government and the resources industry through the Queensland Resources Council. The club's application for improvements has been approved, enabling PDRC to make these necessary upgrades.
