Paracombe Pony and Equestrian Club Inc

Located in the Adelaide Hills Council, Paracombe Pony and Equestrian Club Inc is a friendly and supportive sports club that focuses on inspiring members to achieve and grow to the best of their abilities. Affiliated with Pony Club SA and a member of the Metropolitan Zone, the club encourages riders of all levels to participate in events and training days organised by these associations.

The club has several aims, which include promoting sound and well-balanced horse handling skills, fostering a strong sense of community spirit and involvement, and encouraging safe riding for both horse and rider. They also offer a wide range of teaching skills to cater to all ages and experience levels.

Paracombe Pony and Equestrian Club boasts excellent facilities and agistment options. Their club is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, providing a picturesque environment for riders to learn and grow as individuals and team members. The facilities include a full-sized mixed sand arena with dressage letters, a second jumping/warm-up arena, a cross country course available upon request, day horse yards, and a BBQ area. The club also has a dedicated float parking area.

New members are always welcome at Paracombe Pony and Equestrian Club. To become a member, individuals can choose between two membership options. The first option is Pony Club Australia Membership, which requires signing up through Pony Club Australia's website. The cost for adult or junior riders is $150.

45 ($154. 00 including a card fee), and for financial membership (non-riding member), it is $6. 60 ($7. 08 including a card fee).

Payment for this membership option is by card only. The second option is membership with any other equine club or group that includes 24/7 insurance, with each family member being charged $10. A membership form must be filled out and returned to the club before using the grounds.

The pony club's financial year runs from July 1st to June 30th. Members are encouraged to reach out to the committee members for more information. The club holds rallies on the second Sunday of each month, and membership includes the ability to ride on the grounds outside of rallies.
