Parkside United Junior Football Club

Parkside United Junior Football Club is a well-established sports club located in Mount Isa, Queensland. The club is affiliated with Football Queensland Far North & Gulf and is a part of the North West division. With a range of teams across various age groups, Parkside United Junior Football Club offers opportunities for young footballers to develop their skills and passion for the game.

The club currently has several teams, including the Parkside Blue Barramundi (U13), Parkside Blue Bream (U9), Parkside Blue Cods (U12), Parkside Blue Guppies (U5/6), Parkside Blue Mahi Mahi (U8), Parkside Blue Manta Rays (U11), Parkside Blue Snappers (U7), Parkside Blue Stingrays (U10), Parkside Green Grunters (U7), Parkside Green Marlins (U9), Parkside Green Piranhas (U13), Parkside Green Sharks (U10), Parkside Green Swordfish (U8), Parkside Green Trevally (U12), Parkside Green Yabbies (U5/6), and Parkside United Barracudas (U14-16). Each team participates in preseason fixtures, with results and ladder positions available for viewing.

The club aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels. Under the guidance of President Joshua Littlemore, Vice President Luke Saunders, Treasurer Katrina Carrington, and Secretary/Registrar Teresa Littlemore, the club is dedicated to fostering a love of football and helping players reach their full potential.

For training, Parkside United Junior Football Club utilises the Jimmy Gemmell Sporting Complex, located at the corner of Urqhart and Davis Roads. Training sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM. The club also has a notice board containing important information about training schedules and other updates.

Parkside United Junior Football Club encourages effective communication among its members and supporters. To improve communication, the club utilises the Team App platform, which allows teams and social groups to create their own smartphone app. Additionally, the club can be contacted via their Facebook page and email address provided.
