Under the guidance of head coach Greg Goodfellow, Picton Rangers achieved great success in their first season in the Illawarra top League, winning the 2nd Division and earning promotion. In 2005, Picton Rangers secured their biggest title to date, winning the premier League Grand Final under the leadership of head coach Norm Boardman. They followed this up with another premier League Grand Final win in 2006, making it back-to-back championships. These successes highlighted the club's dedication to excellence and their ability to compete against top-tier teams.

The club also prides itself on its commitment to developing young players. In 2015, the club introduced the MiniRoos programme, which aimed to welcome and nurture young players.
