At Port Adelaide Obedience Dog Club, our priority is to create a fun and friendly environment for both dogs and owners. We believe in positive reward methods of obedience training, which ensures that your furry friend becomes a well-mannered and socially accepted member of the community.
Our club's instructors are all volunteers who are passionate about obedience training and sharing their knowledge with the community. Each instructor has achieved a minimum of the Basic Obedience Certificate and many have even competed with their dogs in Obedience Trials. Aspiring instructors undergo an extensive 12-month training course under the guidance of experienced instructors, and ongoing training is provided to ensure the highest standard of instruction.
One of the advantages of being a volunteer-based club is that our overheads are low, allowing us to offer extremely affordable training to our members. We believe that all dog owners should have access to quality obedience training, regardless of their financial situation.
