Port Bouvard Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer organisation located at Pyramids Beach in Dawesville, Mandurah. The club has been operational since 2003 and is dedicated to ensuring the water safety of beach users in the Peel Region.
Being a member of Port Bouvard SLSC provides individuals with the opportunity to build teamwork skills, make new friends, learn lifesaving skills, get physically fit, and provide a vital service to the community. Members have various ways to get involved, including assisting with water safety for Woodside Nippers, coaching, acting as officials, assessors, and in administration.
The club conducts lifesaving patrols on weekends and public holidays and is involved in different activities such as nippers, surf sports, and education. This allows members to participate in a range of engaging and rewarding activities.
Membership at Port Bouvard SLSC is open to individuals and families, and there are different options available to suit various needs. Memberships are valid from 1 October to 30 September each year. New members can register online through Surf Life Saving Australia, choosing Port Bouvard SLSC from the drop-down list and following the prompts. Existing members can renew their membership, change contact details, access the SLSA e-learning portal, and make payments through their Surfguard account.
The club also offers venue hire for those looking to host events or functions. The facilities at Port Bouvard SLSC provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for members and visitors alike.
