Port Macquarie Touch Association

Welcome to the Port Macquarie Touch web site. Our Club is Host to the biggest and second-biggest touch tournaments in the world, namely the NSW Junior State Cup held in mid-February and the NSW Senior State Cup held at the start of December each year. These event attracts in the vicinity of 15,000 players and followers to Port Macquarie annually which is a great boost to the local business community and testament to our sporting facilities, our climate, and beaches, our restaurants and more important our ability to accommodate the large influx of visitors within the city of Port Macquarie.

We have a very strong local player base and always encourage others to try our sport. The Club is very proud to have an abundance of representative players from Club level right through to NSW and Australian status.

Currently we are working with Council to ensure we have grounds to play on beyond 2018 and that Port Macquarie remains the home of the NSW State Cup.

Port Touch stages both summer and winter competitions. Summer commences in September with six divisions, mens leading league, womens top league, mens social, womens social, mixed and juniors. The Junior competition last year had over 120 teams (1200 players) which we believe constitutes the largest junior competition in NSW. The junior competition runs from October to December on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the Tuffins Lane Sporting Complex.

 The senior competitions are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Tuffins Lane Sporting Complex with Grand Finals in late February / early March.

Winter sees a Mixed competition on Wednesday nights staged at the Woods Street fields. They commence in April and finish in September.
