

The Queensland Round Dance Association Inc (QRDA) is a sports club based in Brisbane, Australia. Their mission is to promote and improve the art of Round Dancing in Queensland. With a simple online application process, it only takes 5 minutes to join and become a member of QRDA.
QRDA is affiliated with several member clubs in Queensland, including Suncoaster Rounds, Sunshine Round Dance, and Allemander Round Dance. Each club holds regular dance sessions where members can learn and practise different phases of Round Dancing. Suncoaster Rounds, led by Bev McLachlan, offers Phase 3 to 4 dancing on Mondays, while Sunshine Round Dance, led by Lynette Nursér, offers Phase 2 to 4 dancing on Fridays. Allemander Round Dance, led by Warwick and Paula Armstrong, holds beginner workshops, general dancing sessions, and intermediate teaching sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays.
QRDA also organises various events for Round Dancing enthusiasts. Upcoming events in November 2023 include workshops and general dancing sessions. Additionally, QRDA has a YouTube channel where members can watch instructional videos to enhance their Round Dancing skills.
The club is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers. The President is Birgit Smith, the Vice President is Warwick Armstrong, the Secretary is Chris Heyworth, and the Treasurer is Catherine Smalley.
