Raleigh Motorsports Association Inc is a sports club located in the Bellingen Shire Council, New South Wales. The club is known for its award-winning Raleigh International Raceway, a licenced circuit offering a variety of Motorsport activities. They have been operating since 1983 and have been a prominent tourist attraction in the region.
The venue is privately owned and has hosted numerous Motorsport events over the years, including Autocross, Lap Dash, Hillclimb, Drift, Rallycross, and Rallysprint. It is considered the centre of Motorsports in regional New South Wales and has even hosted the World Rally Championship for three consecutive years.
Conveniently situated between Sydney and Brisbane, Raleigh Motorsports Complex is just 15 minutes south of Coffs Harbour, a popular tourism hub on the Mid North Coast. The club offers the venue for hire for various Motorsport activities, making it suitable for Motorsport organisations, clubs, or individual competitors and enthusiasts. The raceway offers different track layouts, including Hillclimb & Lap Dash on a bitumen circuit, Drift on a bitumen circuit, Rallysprint on a purpose-built bitumen/dirt surface, and Rallycross on a purpose-built bitumen/dirt surface. Additionally, they have a paddock available for hire for Khanacross & Motorkhana events.
Raleigh International Raceway is known for its challenging track, set in a natural amphitheatre surrounded by a beautiful forest. It features various uphill and downhill sections, flowing bends, and straights that require an aggressive driving style to achieve high speeds. The raceway attracts top drivers from around Australia and allows spectators to witness thrilling Drift and Rallycross competitions (entry fees apply).
The club's calendar of events may be subject to change without notice, so it is advisable to check the latest schedule. The raceway is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on all other days. It is important to note that no dogs are allowed on-site during Motorsport events, and visitors are urged to respect the neighbours and keep noise levels down while travelling to and from the circuit.
