Redcliffe Little Athletics Club

Redcliffe Little Athletics Club, established in 1973, is a sports club located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is proud to be the first established Little Athletics Centre in the area, with its origins dating back to the early 1960s in Victoria. The club was founded by Alan Triscott, who brought the concept of Little Athletics to Queensland through several public meetings in Brisbane.

The mission of Redcliffe Little Athletics is to develop children of all abilities by promoting positive attitudes and a healthy lifestyle through family and community involvement in athletic activities. The club provides opportunities for children too young for senior athletics to participate and excel in various athletic events.

Registration is currently open for Season 51, which runs from August 2023 to March 2024. Parents and guardians can access the club's handbook, which contains important information about the season. Training sessions take place on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm starting from August 29th, 2023. These sessions are included in the registration fees.

Competition nights are held on Fridays from 5:30pm starting from September 1st, 2023, also included in the registration fees.

Redcliffe Little Athletics is a FairPlay provider, meaning that parents, carers, or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child. This voucher can be used towards sport and active recreation membership, registration, or participation fees. Please note that there is a limit of one voucher per child per calendar year. The club encourages all eligible individuals to apply for this opportunity.

The club recently celebrated its 50th season in 2022/2023, highlighting its longstanding presence in the community. Redcliffe Little Athletics is proud to be the most senior Little Athletic Centre in the region, with a rich history of promoting athletics and fostering a positive environment for young athletes.
