Renmark Horse and Pony Club is a well-established sports club located in the beautiful Riverland region of South Australia. The club was founded in 1973 and has since become a popular destination for riders of all ages and experience levels.
The club's facilities are designed to cater to the needs of both beginners and experienced riders. There is a large grassed area with plenty of shade, perfect for those warm summer days. Additionally, the club boasts a round yard, a menage, and a cross country course, providing ample opportunities for riders to practise and improve their skills.
One of the highlights of the club is its renowned canteen, which is known for offering delicious and hearty meals. Visitors can enjoy a satisfying meal after a day of riding or simply relax and socialise with fellow horse enthusiasts.
Rallies at Renmark Horse and Pony Club are held once a month from February through to November. These rallies provide members with the opportunity to come together, learn new skills, and participate in a variety of equestrian activities. On off rally weekends, the club also organises other events such as trail rides and clinics, ensuring there is always something exciting happening for members to enjoy.
One of the club's major events is the annual Tri Series. This competition comprises three separate competitions held on March 15th, May 10th, and August 9th. The Tri Series caters to riders of all levels, from led riders to the more experienced. The club offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with camping available on-site and limited yards for horses.
Furthermore, the club provides full catering on the day, ensuring participants have everything they need for an enjoyable and stress-free experience.
