Rick was born in Bowral country NSW in 1960 and grew up in the small nearby town of Mittagong. Rick joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1976 serving on the HMAS Vampire where he completed various deployments around the world. His time in the military has influenced many aspects of his life and the experience has been an influence in both his personal life and as a trainer.
After exceeding 25 years as a successful breaker and educator Rick made the decision to branch out as a country trainer in 2006 and progressed to a metropolitan trainer in recent years.
