In addition, hand sanitisers are readily available, and everyone must maintain a 1.

For spectators, Basketball Victoria recommends that athletes be accompanied by one parent or guardian. Spectators are expected to follow social distancing measures and remain within designated areas while watching the game. Face masks are not mandatory during games for players, referees, and coaches on the court. However, masks are recommended for individuals aged 12 years and older when social distancing cannot be maintained.

In the event of a COVID-19 case during the tournament, the RBA will follow the guidelines provided by the Victorian Chief Health Officer. It is crucial for all participants to be registered and scan in upon entry to enable proper notifications to authorities if an outbreak occurs. The RBA also encourages everyone entering the stadium to download the government COVID Safe app, which aids in contact tracing.
