Roebourne PCYC

Located in the heart of Roebourne, surrounded by the local school, a pool, and a basketball court, Roebourne PCYC (Police and Community Youth Centre) is a vibrant sports club that serves the community of Shire of Roebourne. Affectionately known as the “50 Cent” Hall, Roebourne PCYC offers a range of programmes and activities for children and young people in the area.

Thanks to the support of Regional Development Australia and Rio Tinto, Roebourne PCYC operates the safeSPACE™ programme, which aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for vulnerable children and young people at risk. This programme runs multiple evenings a week, offering a variety of activities and opportunities for personal growth. It is a referral-based programme, so interested individuals are encouraged to contact the centre directly for more information.

In addition to the safeSPACE™ programme, Roebourne PCYC also designs and implements diversionary and recreational programmes targeted towards the local young people. These programmes cater to the specific needs and interests of the community, providing them with opportunities to engage in sports, arts, and other recreational activities.
