If thoughts persist, individuals can gently say within themselves, “Not this thought” or “I forgive myself, I forgive everyone. ” The goal is to experience a gentle cool breeze on the hands or above the head. Once the cool sensation is felt, attention is maintained in that area while the hands rest on the lap.
This practise promotes relaxation, peace, and inner silence.
