About

Sea Wolves Dive Club is a scuba diving club based in Adelaide, South Australia. With a membership of around 70, the club is known for its strong community and close-knit family atmosphere. They are one of the largest independent dive clubs in South Australia and are not affiliated with any shop or organisation.

The club was founded on February 9th, 1988 and originally associated with The Dive Shop at O'Halloran Hill. After approximately 12 years, the Dive Shop closed, and the club relocated to its current location at Bayford Rise, Morphett Vale. Since then, membership has steadily grown and continues to do so.

While scuba diving is at the core of the club's activities, Sea Wolves Dive Club offers much more than just diving. Members also engage in various outdoor activities and social events, including 4WD trips, motorbike rides (both on and off-road), fishing trips, club BBQs, and participation in community projects.

Some notable community initiatives that the club has been involved with include a letter-writing campaign to support the Rapid Bay Jetty, volunteering to work on the former HMAS Hobart, obtaining and sinking a new artificial reef called the MV Seawolf, and running a children's snorkelling day for the Onkaparinga Council.

The club holds regular meetings every Tuesday evening, with doors opening at 7:30pm and the meeting starting at 8:30pm. The meetings are held at their premises in Bayford Rise, Morphett Vale. The meetings offer a social atmosphere and are known for being enjoyable and filled with laughter.

Sea Wolves Dive Club also has a licenced bar on-site, adding to the social appeal of the club. Membership renewal can be done via direct debit to the club's bank account, with the transfer receipt required to be brought to the next meeting.

Whether you are an experienced diver or simply someone who enjoys outdoor activities and socialising, Sea Wolves Dive Club welcomes new members. Their diverse range of events and activities make it a great club to join for those who love the great outdoors and want to be part of a supportive and fun community.
