Welcome to the Seddon Auskick page for 2016.
The new season also brings new coordinators â Rick Halliwell (Tateâs Dad) and Lisa Brown (Ollieâs Mum). We have some exciting ideas for the centre and weâd love you to join us this season.
Seddon Auskick is situated at the Yarraville Gardens (Hanmer Reserve) â enter from Harris Street (tennis courts on corner).
Our season will commence after Easter on Saturday 16 April and run for 16 weeks â see fixture below.

Auskick is for Primary aged children, girls, and boys ages 5 to 12. If your child is turning 5 this year at some stage in the season you can register them to play. It is a great fun way to help your children develop good hand and eye coordination skills. The environment is friendly, safe and a great start to your weekend.

and if you register by Sunday 10 April, you will receive a family pass (4 tickets) to an AFL game.
If you are returning, make sure you update your childâs grade on the system as this is used for sorting out which kids are eligible to participate in the MCG Grid games (and makes administration easier).

— 16 sessions – Kit bag full of goodies from the AFL – Participation medallion / trophy & certificate – Special Fun days throughout the year culminating in a Parents v Kids match on the last day.
Packs will be sent directly to your home.
It is our intention this year to have a âgirls onlyâ group. This will depend on numbers so if you know of any girls who would like to join in, send them along. We are endeavouring to secure a female coach.
Got any footy boots that donât fit anymore? We will be running our first footy boot swap this year. Details will be communicated once youâve enrolled.
The coals are heating up on the BBQ this year with the introduction of Egg and Bacon Sandwiches (as well as our customary sausages in bread). Water will be sold and we will provide free cordial. Oranges will be provided to the kids during their drink break.
A fun activity for parents and kids to be involved (and bragging rights at the end of the season!!! . Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd. To register you must be enrolled at Seddon Auskick.
