In terms of sporting success, Shamrocks has a proud history. The club continuously fields teams in both the Senior and Reserve Men's Competitions and the Ladies Competitions. Over the years, the club has achieved great success and has won every trophy on offer by the Queensland Gaelic Football Association. Many of Shamrocks' players have gone on to represent the club on Queensland representative teams at the Australasian Championships, and have been selected for All Star Teams at these Championships.
