Sharen Reynolds School of Dance, Pilates & Zumba

Born in Melbourne - Sharen Reynolds started dance classes at the age of eight with Shirley Tulley who was later to run the Commonweatlth Society Teachers of Dance (C. S. T. D) Competition in Melbourne for many years.

Afterwards she continued her training with Thelma Williams in the Checchetti Classical Method, Jazz, Tap and Singing Lessons. Sharen began teaching at the age of 16 whilst still a student and opened her own school, the Sharen Reynolds School of Dance in Wodonga at the age of 19. Sharen holds an Associate Diploma in the Checchetti Classical Method and a Teachers Tap Diploma with the C. S.

T. D.

For over 30 years Sharen has been dedicated to her students providing a fun yet dedicated safe way of learning in many styles of dance, winning numerous awards with her students in both local and Melbourne competitions. Some of Sharens students have continued their training proffesionally and opened their own schools, bacame freelance teachers and professionals in both the commercial and classical industry.

In early 2000 Sharen became a qualified pilates instructor with the Pialtes Aliance Australasia and in 2010 a qualified Zumba instructor. Most recently she has adjudicated competitions in and around the Melbourne area.
