The club hosts regular track training sessions at the Shepparton Velodrome. These training sessions run from October to March and provide riders with the opportunity to practise various track racing disciplines in a coached environment. Participants can learn the tactics and strategies behind different types of races, helping them improve their skills and performance on the track. To ensure smooth organisation, participants are required to check-in using the Buncheur App.
As part of the track season, Shepparton Cycling Club also organises monthly track racing competitions. These events bring together cyclists from neighbouring clubs to compete in a range of track events. The races take place on Friday evenings, beginning at 6pm and running into the evening under lights. The club welcomes spectators and riders from all clubs, but it is important for all participants to hold a valid racing licence.
One of the club's standout events is the Wodonga Tafe Deca Dash Crits Points Score Series. This series offers riders the opportunity to compete in a challenging race on one of the safest closed roads in Victoria. The series prioritises consistent wins, with the top five places in each grade earning points. All entrants receive a point for entering each event.
The series consists of ten races, with points accumulated throughout determining the final winners in each grade. Restrictions apply, with a maximum of 20 riders allowed on the circuit at any time.
