Singletrack Minds

Singletrack Minds is a sports club in Perth that is dedicated to the love of mountain biking. They live, breathe, and dream about mountain biking and their goal is to share the experience of riding incredible mountain bike trails with others.

One of Singletrack Minds' flagship events is the Kalamunda 50, which takes place on May 28th, 2022. This event is considered the pinnacle of the mountain biking calendar and features a 50 km race with at least 50% single track. The route showcases the best of the best trails in the Perth hills, providing an epic and challenging experience for riders. In 2023, the event will return with even more new trails and fun.

The Kalamunda 50 is known for its unique and unforgettable courses and locations. While the exact course map is not released to the public, it is designed to offer maximum enjoyment for all participants. Riders are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Kalamunda Circuit and surrounding areas to have the best chance of riding familiar trails during the event.

Participants can expect a day filled with incredible riding, followed by a relaxing time with friends and family, enjoying delicious food and drinks. Singletrack Minds strives to create an event that meets high standards and ensures a memorable day out on the bike.

In addition to the Kalamunda 50, Singletrack Minds also offers a 25 km option for those who prefer a shorter distance. The event is open to riders aged 16 and above, with categories available for Open, 40+, and 50+ in both male and female divisions. There is also a separate race for E-Bikes, which must meet all Australian Standards and be pedal-assisted.

Participation in the Kalamunda 50 incurs an entry cost of $93 per rider, which includes insurance coverage. Non-members of AUSCYCLE do not need to purchase a day licence, ensuring a flat entry rate for all competitors.
