Skipping NT is the peak body for the sport of rope skipping in the NT. The Association operates separately from skipping clubs, like the NT Pumper Jumpers, but has an important role in supporting NT-based clubs and skippers. Skipping NT's key functions are as follows:
1. To support, promote and encourage participation in skipping (including helping the establishment of new clubs).
2. To administer the sport for the benefit of all members (including collecting annual membership forms and fees).
3. To undertake activities which assist skipping members to develop and display skills and participate in NT, Australian and international competitions.
4. To raise funds and undertake organisation and administration activities to support the objects and purposes of the Association.
