At St. Kilda Life Saving Club, our primary focus is providing life-saving services to the St. Kilda community and beachgoers. Every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday from November through April, our highly trained and skilled surf lifesavers volunteer their time to patrol the beach, ensuring the safety of everyone.

They provide vital first aid treatment and educate beachgoers on water safety. During the peak summer season, professional lifeguards extend this service to the public on weekdays as well.

In the 2018/2019 life-saving season, our dedicated volunteers conducted numerous patrols, rescued swimmers in need, and provided first aid to those who required it. We are proud of our commitment to keeping the beach safe for all visitors.

In addition to our life-saving services, St. Kilda Life Saving Club offers a range of opportunities for its members. We provide nationally recognised training courses, allowing members to develop essential skills and qualifications in areas such as first aid, CPR, and advanced first aid. Our training is crucial for those who volunteer to patrol the beach during the summer months.

For those who enjoy competition, we have options for all ages and abilities. Our club has a strong presence in surf boat rowing and regularly participates in state, national, and international events.
