St Mary's Tennis Club Geelong Inc. is a family-focused tennis club located at Thomson Reserve in East Geelong. Originally founded in 1921 on the grounds of St Mary's Primary School, the club has a rich history in Geelong. However, due to the sale of the school site, the club was forced to find a new home. After extensive discussions and negotiations with the City of Greater Geelong, St Mary's Tennis Club made the decision to relocate to Thomson Reserve.
With the assistance of grants from the State Government and City of Greater Geelong, as well as contributions from their own funds, the club embarked on a project to construct four new courts. Completed in 2013, these courts provide a first-class facility for members and the local community.
