The Strahan Golf Club is a nine-hole course, close to central Strahan. Strahan is Tasmania's major west coast town, a four-and-a-half hour drive from Hobart (298 kilometres) and Launceston (290 kilometres).
Strahan Golf Club features well-kept, watered greens fringed by tall eucalypt trees and the flat course makes for easy walking. Six of the holes have deep hazard ditches, including the par three, fourth hole which requires a lofted tee shot over tall gum trees to a green with front and rear hazard ditches.
