Sunbury Ladies Badminton Club has been playing daytime Badminton for almost 20 years. We currently play at the Eric Boardman Stadium, Wilsons Lane, Sunbury.
Our Monday morning social group players are allocated to sections one, two and three, based on their level of experience. Once a player has maintained an average score over a three-week period, they are then promoted to the next section. Players in our Thursday morning competition group are assigned to a team and continue playing with that team throughout the season.
Our current membership comprises women of all ages (25 – 70!) and levels of ability. Many of our members had never played the game before but have improved their skills along the way and are still enjoying being part of a great, friendly environment.
We host an annual tournament and invite players from various Clubs to join us for some competitive fun. We are also invited to participate in tournaments at other venues.
Sunbury Ladies Badminton Club provides a great environment for women to keep physically active and develop wonderful friendships along the way. We also provide a low-cost supervised play area for pre-school children.
