Super Kids Sports is a multi-sports programme based in Sydney, Australia, offering a fun and exciting experience for children aged 2½ to 5 years. With a strong background in physical education and sports science, and over 18 years of experience, Super Kids Sports provides a well-rounded and structured programme designed to encourage a love of sport and help children learn and develop a range of sport, movement, and life skills.
The programme is divided into four age groups: Dolphins (2 ½ to 3 ¼ years), Tigers (3 ¼ to 4 years), Eagles (4 to 4 ½ years), and Dragons (4 ½ years and above). Each age group builds on the skills and knowledge acquired in the previous level, ensuring that children progress at an appropriate pace. The Dolphins level introduces the fundamentals of all sports and basic locomotor skills, laying the foundations for future development. In the Tigers level, children build on their skills and take on new challenges specific to their age group with increased confidence.
At the Eagles level, team play is introduced, and as their sporting abilities grow, the programme adapts accordingly. Finally, at the Dragons level, children fine-tune what they have learned and leave with a healthy attitude and a lifelong love of sport.
Super Kids Sports is run by Luke Penning and Rochelle Sangster, who together bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sports industry. Luke found his passion for coaching children while studying Exercise & Sport Science at university and has since become a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and a Junior Development Coaching Qualification with Tennis Australia. Rochelle has a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Human Movement and Health Education and has been working in the industry since 2001. Both Luke and Rochelle have a combined experience of over 30 years and have played nearly every sport imaginable, allowing them to pass on their love and knowledge of sport to the children in their programme.
