GLENDA GOODING is the principal of Surya Yoga and Meditation Studio and is a Senior Level 3 Yoga Teacher with a Yoga Teaching Course recognised by Yoga Australia. Glenda has been training successful yoga teachers for over 20 years. Her strong capability as a teacher derives from over 20 years of teaching yoga, training teachers and the establishment of two successful yoga centres. Glenda’s wide experience has evolved from managing her own business, and having also taught yoga in corporate venues, community centres and gyms.
Glenda is widely travelled (including Ashrams in India) and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classes.
The style of teaching Glenda has developed is unique and is a slow fluid style which incorporates pranayama and mudras, and each class concludes with 10 minutes of yoga nidra or relaxation. Classes are designed to leave students with a tangible sense of wellbeing on all levels (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual).
The Studio runs classes in Hatha Yoga – Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Classes, Meditation Courses, occasional workshops, and the 12 month registered Yoga Teaching Course.

The Surya Yoga and Meditation Studio is situated at 869 Mount Dandenong Road, Montrose. It is on the same side of the road and between The Little Flower Shoppe and the Montrose Fire Station. There is a parking lane out front on Mount Dandenong Road.
