Sydney Taekwondo Centre

Sydney Taekwondo Centre, located in Sydney, Australia, was founded by Vicki and Pino Donofrio, who have over 25 years of experience teaching Taekwondo at various martial arts schools in the city. Vicki, a 4th Dan Black Belt, and Pino, a 3rd Dan Black Belt, are dedicated to helping their students achieve their fullest potential and develop both physical and mental strength.

The goal of Sydney Taekwondo Centre is to provide the highest quality and accuracy of Taekwondo training, challenging students to excel in their practise. They specialise in kids' tuition and group fitness, offering classes that cater to all levels of fitness, from beginners to advanced.

Vicki and Pino have trained under Master Jeongtae Kim, a 9th Dan and the 1973 World Champion from Seoul, Korea. With their extensive competitive experience in Taekwondo and body fitness, they aim to create a one-stop-shop for people of all ages, offering a diverse range of health and fitness classes either in-house or on-site.

Vicki Donofrio, a 6-time National Champion and 3-time World & Asian Bronze Medallist, shares her passion for Taekwondo by passing on the skills of the art to children since retiring from competition. She is a highly skilled instructor, holding certifications such as Level 1 Taekwondo from the Australian Institute of Sport, as well as Taekwondo Referee Level 1.

Pino Donofrio, a 5-time Australian Taekwondo Champion, developed his love for martial arts at a young age. He trained diligently and competed in numerous state and national competitions, representing Australia in international championships. Pino is also a qualified instructor, holding certifications such as Level 1 Taekwondo and Taekwondo Referee Level 1.

Jim Fassolis is another instructor at Sydney Taekwondo Centre, with notable achievements such as being the 1st ever Australian International Gold Medallist and a contender in the 1987 World Championships. He has also clinched multiple gold medals in Australian and Asian Championships.
