Every Saturday morning, members, and guests gather at the Terrigal Surf Club Car Park for a run or walk that begins promptly at 6:00am. It is recommended to arrive by 5:40am to secure a parking space. The club welcomes runners of all levels, offering various options for shortcuts to accommodate different fitness levels.
To participate in the weekly run, an entry fee of $2 is required and after completing 10 recorded runs, participants automatically become members of the club. It is important for newcomers to complete the Runner Waiver before their first run to ensure a smooth registration process.
In addition to the regular Saturday runs, Terrigal Trotters also organises other exciting events. For example, upcoming events include the Girrakool to Patonga run, the Patonga-Little Wobby Loop, and a run at McPherson State Forest. Members can also achieve milestones within the club. Recent milestones include Dina Batt completing her 600th run, Paul Carroll and Neil Prosser reaching 200 runs, and Steve Grey and Lorraine Cooke both reaching an impressive 800 runs.
