Osu, and welcome to The Fighting Spirit Gym website. We teach beginners to advanced students, children and adults, with our classes demonstrating high discipline and motivated and well focused confident students. We teach traditional Kyokushin Karate, Self Defence and Muay Thai.

Shihan Mark Tyson has over 33 years experience in Kyokushin Karate and other Martial Arts, and has been teaching and passing on his knowledge to others since 1988 and is recognised as one of the top Instructors in Kyokushin Karate in Australia and certainly in Tamworth city, where he has been teaching others and passing on his knowledge to those that would like to study in the Art of Kyokushin Karate. Shihan Mark, is currently organising various trips to showcase his full contact karate seminar, to those that are interested in better understanding Kyokushin's full contact knockdown style of fighting.
