Dedicated and skilled individual who plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of beachgoers. The Lakes Surf Life Saving Club, located in Central Coast, is a vibrant and inclusive sports club that is committed to the principles of surf life-saving.
The club offers a range of memberships for different age groups and skill levels. The Little Rippers programme is designed for children aged 3–5 years old, introducing them to water safety and confidence in the surf. Juniors aged U6-U14 can join the Nippers programme, where they learn essential life-saving skills and participate in beach and water activities. Seniors and Masters aged U15 and above are encouraged to join and continue their involvement in surf life-saving.
To become a member, registration can be done online through the Surf Lifesaving Australia Members Portal. New members who have never been part of a surf club before can choose to join a “Surf Lifesaving Club” and find The Lakes SLSC. Parents must also join if registering a child, and a family group can be created. Returning members can easily renew their membership through the portal, and transferring members from other surf clubs can also register accordingly.
The Lakes SLSC holds face-to-face registration days at the clubhouse, but online registration is the preferred method. Active Kids Vouchers can be used to partially pay for membership fees. The club encourages parents to take advantage of this opportunity for their children's membership.
